Badgers on the Line

It used to be Trees on the line and now we have Badgers on the line

The comment "It used to be Trees on the line and now we have Badgers on the line". is perfectly true and in no way is it defamatory

The telephone service was interrupted last December and January because a Badger had dug its sett through the middle of the underground telephone line and Hive Telecom refused to accept this they insisted they would not compensate for loss of service

We had a previous history of trees disturbing our telephone service.

Perhaps it would of been easier for an experienced manager to contact me rather than the legal team insisting I remove this page.

As requested, please find attached your February 2011 invoice with itemised calls made from your Hive telephone line in January 2011

The account was transferred into your name on the 4th January 2011.

No further calls were able to be made after the 24h of January 2011 as due to non payment of the account your calls were barred. Once payment has been made on the account we will be happy to reinstate your outbound calls.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Many Thanks

I joined Euphony 3 years ago because I found their service and cost very competitive.

When I moved address I wanted to arrange with Hive to keep the original telephone number in my partner's name, Paul Leverett, (A/c 10177919), whilst increasing your sales by introducing another friend (who is still waiting for a telephone connection from you), plus staying as a customer too, at my new address.

It now seems that you want to charge me for line connection and a broadband service that was never in use. I will dispute charges for a connection with Trading Standards if necessary. Please note that I was not even given a proper account number or notification as to when the telephone line was connected. I found out when I tried plugging in a phone for myself late December!!

I had expected the transfer to be a simple affair but the new telephone line and broadband have just been delayed too much which has left me no choice but to return to BT instead.

I would request a refund for the return of this router (sent by recorded post £5.94) which I would not have requested if I had known beforehand how long broadband was going to take to be received. I am prepared to pay for calls made during December into 2011 but refuse to pay connection or broadband charges as this service was not received.

Yours faithfully

Maggie Roine
